Drawing on inspiration from motherhood and a deep love of the beach where I grew up, I feel so lucky to spend time painting in my home surrounded and supported by my husband, our two young children and beloved dog.

Born and raised in Atlantic beach, FL, I spent my childhood collecting shells, surfing small waves, making art and writing stories. When we moved back to Atlantic Beach in 2025  - one baby in tow and another on the way - the ease and beauty of being home flooded my senses. And a paintbrush found its way back into my hand.

As we splash again in the small surf by our house, my daughter calls the light reflections on the water “magic.” And it pulls at my heart to capture that movement - the play, the connection, and the sparkle - while bringing the rich neutral palette of sand and water onto the walls of our friends’ and family’s homes. 

I’m equally, and sometimes deliriously, moved by the abstract moments of parenthood, from symbols and figures of early mornings and late nights, to the many, many hats we find ourselves wearing. Putting it all to canvas brings so much joy and presence to the beautiful chaos.
